Terms of Service

Plain English terms for using Planito. If something is unclear, email us and we'll explain it.

Plain English summary: Use Planito fairly, don't abuse it, keep your account secure, and you own all your content. We provide the service as-is and can terminate abusive accounts.

By accessing or using Planito ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Planito on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

These terms apply to all users of the service, including users on free and paid plans.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Planito cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Planito. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You agree not to use Planito for any of the following:

  • Storing or transmitting illegal content or material
  • Harassing, threatening, or impersonating others
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Distributing spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract the source code of our software

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Planito. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your notes, tasks, or other workspace content.

By using the Service, you grant Planito a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice for existing subscribers.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day refund policy for new Pro and Team subscriptions.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice unless the violation is severe enough to warrant immediate termination.

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Planito is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice via email and an in-app banner before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
